- Robert Bloch Bloch is probably best known as the author of
Psycho. He began corresponding with Lovecraft when he was only 16
years old, and soon thereafter began writing Cthulhu Mythos tales. In
Blochs mythos story, The Shambler from the Stars, Bloch kills off a
character modeled after Lovecraft. Blochs Notebook Found in a Deserted
House is, perhaps, his best mythos work.
