H.P. Lovecraft’s Personal Interests

Lovecraft’s taste in art extended, not surprisingly, to the grotesque and fantastic.
Lovecraft was fascinated by astronomy from the time he was twelve.
Being primarily a horror author, Lovecraft was well-read in the genre, and greatly appreciated a number of writers of horror.
Due to his limited budget, Lovecraft’s diet was rather poor, which may have led to his untimely death.
Motion Pictures
Lovecraft’s wealth of available time gave him ample opportunity to view the motion pictures of his day.
